You see, the rain, is a passionate lover. She doesn't like to share your attention.
If you listen closely, She will tell you that when She arrives, you don't need to read a book anymore to find poetry.
While She sings her song, you don't need to carry music in a metal box.
And sometimes, She says, it's important to just let the thoughts be wiped clean off of pages.
You don't really need them, She says.
Don't bother wearing a watch; you don't need to know what the time is. There is no such thing.
She will even break up your cigarettes.
Look at the colors changing.
Look at the streams of water flowing in all directions.
Smell me, She says.
And just when you're losing yourself in her ecstasy, a bus zooms past you and you're splattered with muck.
Story of life, people
